My View Tomorrow: Preston are erratic and

:sleepy2: My View tomorrow v Preston:

I think we are equals . It could go either way .

They erratic and one doesn’t know what Preston team would turn out . The thing is we got 4 points out of 3 games and most fans are talking as if we are doing great .

Yes it is great in the sense it comes after 9 defeats …… but 4 points out of nine is not really good . Also the draw with Stoke was admirable but damn lucky and the win against Huddersfield was highway robbery .

The point I am making is we are not yet there and should keep our feet on the ground .

With Derby down and reading back in the mix It appears that relegation is unlikely but possible.

We must be patient this season and back Steve Morison through the good and bad matches this season, United together :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

We must stick with it now, get behind the new manager and the boys, results have improved slightly, but any improvement is a blessing eh?

We must remember though, no game in this division is a given! And we have had some bad results against preston in the past!! I'd be happy with a point, over the moon with 3! As long as we keep improving we will be ok imho, not bothered about any other team or results at this time, just ours!
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS. CCFC!!

I'd always take a point away from home and despite their position Preston are closer to the playoffs than relegation zone points wise.

Preston are one of a few teams that we've played in all 4 divisions of the league, but never played them in any cup. It's quite even as we have 37 wins to their 36, but they've stuck a few goals on us over the years, a couple of 6's including that famous one in 2009, a couple of 7's and they also beat us 9-0 at their place in the 60's, though we did win 6-2 at Deepdale in 1962. No easy game in the Championship but we may find out tomorrow if we've turned the corner. :bluescarf:

Last time I was at Preston they stuffed us 3-0 and one of their goals was from the half way line.

A few seasons earlier we beat them 1-0 to send them down.

That was the season after when they put 6 passed us.

Somewhere between all that they beat us 3-0 where one of the goals our keeper Enks I believed came out of his goal ad tried to tackle their winger on the side line leaving an open goal. They scored their 3rd goal from that.

I'll be happy with a point away and continue to stop the rot!

Saying that I hope we go for it non the less! We've had 10 years of defensive hoofball!
