AN HONEST STEVE MORISON: “ TRANSFER STATEMENT “

Sat Nov 13, 2021 7:43 am

MY VIEW:

Finally we have a manager who is not bullshitting and saying what Dalman wanted them to say.

STEVE MORISON SAYS THE TRUTH: “No money, small squad, plenty of up and coming kids and maybe be we can bring our loan players back :thumbright: At least as fans We know where we are in deep shit but with an honest manager ready to give his all and be honest. :thumbright:

Neil Harris and Mick McCarthy did the opposite and say what Dalman wanted us to hear: big squad, plenty in depth, quality and had the full support of Dalman etc Well all that bullshit got them No where as us fans were not stupid.

STEVE MORISON THE CARDIFF CITY FANS ARE 100% BEHIND YOU :thumbright: :thumbright: HONESTY & GIVE 100% WITH GOOD FOOTBALL THATS ALL WE ASK :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

STEVE MORISON TRANSFER STATEMENT: :bluebird:

Morison says he hopes Cardiff will be able to add to their squad in January - either by recalling players on loan or bringing in new players.

Finances are likely to be tight at Cardiff City Stadium, with Dalman admitting last month that the new man in charge would have to work on a shoestring budget. With no money available and maybe no money for next season as well.

The Bluebirds currently have Josh Murphy, Ryan Wintle, Gavin Whyte and Max Watters out on loan, and Morison hasn't ruled out recalling his loan players if needed.

STEVE MORISON:

"We head into the January transfer window where hopefully we can improve our squad slightly, whether that's bringing people back or getting new people in, whoever that might be," he said.

"If we see a real upturn in performances, and everyone is flying and doing really well, it might be a case where now the style of play has changed and how we want to work has changed and maybe we don't need to start looking.”

“I know I don’t have a big squad at the moment and can’t bring new players in unless more leave, but maybe I can bring some of the players out on loan back in January.”

"We've got a really good crop of players in the younger age groups who might be able to help those players in the first team."

Steve Morison will be assisted by Tom Ramasut and brings on board former Bluebirds captain, Mark Hudson, who makes a welcome return to the Welsh Capital as First Team Coach :bluebird: :bluebird:

Hooray. This is all we wanted. An honest statement from the manager. We’ll said SM. Now we can all get together, get behind the coaches and players and start moving up the table.
Annis is absolutely right in saying it’s easy to support us when we’re in the top 6 but now we’re needed more than ever. So let’s support the boys…and make some noise!!! :bluescarf:

Very honest from Morison, like you say this is all we asked for.

Good idea to bring back a few of the loan players, as he hinted at there.

Think we may start to see the likes of Zimba be involved in the First Team as time goes on as well.

We finally have an honest manager who wants to play a good style of football :bluebird:

Our job now is to support him and be patient :thumbright:

I dont hold out too much hope with Murphy, but never say never I guess?? But the "jury" has been out for a long time now!! Plus he is injured, so wont probably feature till February.

I can remember warnock saying "big squad" full of talent, and then moaning later on saying opposite, all managers say these things tbf.

As long as we show OUR dedication to the club, and fully get behind the manager and team, that is our responsibility now.

I've said a few times about getting loan players back, wintle especially, this should help us out, giving some a rest etc, especially the young players making their first steps into the toughest division of all imho.

Fergie didn’t do so bad with his “class of 92”, let’s see what SM can do with his “class of 22”

We all know what we have and we all know where we are and what needs to be done.

Im looking forward to the ride personally. Every game will now be a battle to play catch up after the wage packet collection activities of Harris and then McCarthy. The paid of them couldnt give a monkeys as they know they will always be paid and never be poor. Harris should be removed of his FIFA licence for crimes against football and McCarthy not far behind.

We have player "buy in" , the crowd are all behind him so lets give him all the support he needs.

And Steve if your reading - please acknowledge the people who part with their cash to come and watch every week. We are in this sh1t together.
