Everyone wants Morison to succeed!

Thu Nov 11, 2021 1:44 pm

Hello!

Every Cardiff fan wants Morison to succeed and be a roaring success!

A few points!

To take close to 3 weeks to appoint someone already on the payroll is a joke.

Morison needs the backing of the board - let Morison bring in some coaches and pick his own assistant manager.

If Morison is by some Christmas miracle given money in January that he needs to identify players and not the transfer committee,

Getting fed up of seeing Cardiff fans say Utd won stuff with kids - No ‘class of 92’ without Cantona, Cole, Keane, Irwin, Schmeichel - there does have to be investment in the first team if we want to get the best out of our young players. Young players need mentors to develop.

Rant over & massive good luck to Steve Morison!

I get your point but would point out two of the those player you mentioned joined after 92 Keane (93) and Cole ( 95 ) Think you do have to look at the league they were in as well The class of 92 were a special group and you will not see that happen too many times again in modern top level football

The class of 92 didn’t break into the first team until around 96 and would not of had the success or developed like they did without those senior players

But the key point I’m making is you have to have the balance between youth & senior players if you want young players to develop.

No the only joke is you and your transparent moan at the club.

How do you know what has been going on behind the scenes in this period?
That’s right, you don’t. You have no idea.

Managers have been approached and spoken to by the club even if they didn’t hold official interviews. These things take time.

For me, there was no rush and I’m happy that the club looked at all angles and chose this outcome.

Seem to think they are being smart or clever but we know the reality... ;)
