Forget all the other names that have been linked, let's say the job is between Steve Morison and Michael Flynn.
Who would you appoint as manager?
Vote in the poll.
Steve Morison for me, no doubt about it.

Morison

A no brainer for me it's Morison and given Dalman has said there is no money to buy new players in January and it's likely we will need to use more U23's to cover injuries and suspensions. Add to that our senior players look like they have bought in to the way he wants them to play.
I've nothing against Mike Flynn it's just Steve Morison seems to tick more boxes.

Morison for me.
Already knows players.
Good football being played.
Already being paid.

An incognito one, as he hasn't even owned up to voting for himself...

Morison definitely but agree with earlier poster - keep the initial contract brief.

Anyway of tagging Mr tan and the board to show them what we want?

Nothing against Flynny, I think he's a decent manager.
But the players vouching for Morison is massive imo. If they think he's the right man, he's the right man for me. I'd give him a rolling contract till the end of the season.

Morison on a pay as you manage contract, reviewed in January and at the end of the season!
We would probably need a Director of football too someone experienced to help him out, especially with the buys/loans in January.

That's incredible post for 100 people just 2 for flynn. Just shows what fans and players want. Let's see the club appoint flynn now as they don't usually have a clue

Flynn for me on a short term deal to the end of the season with Morison back in the 23s with the pair working together.
Morisons talents clearly with the youth thats not to say he couldn't step up but we are not in the position to take that chance IMO and are in a serious relegation battle.
Everyone is loving Morison at the moment on the back of a draw, a defeat and a last minute winner which is fair enough but for me the risk is to high to take the chance so Flynn would get my vote purely based on experience.
Wouldn't want either of them tbh but that's my answer to the question for what it's worth.

Steve Morison , no doubts what soever.
Mon Nov 08, 2021 8:00 pm
No brained for me
Morrison deserves a chance
1) knows the unders 23s that have come through
2) look what he's been doing with the under 23s
2) I think flying is as just as much a gamble as morrison
4) players are fighting for him.till the end !!
Mon Nov 08, 2021 8:39 pm
easily morrison..no brainer
Mon Nov 08, 2021 9:15 pm
Morison,don't want a league 2 reject.
Mon Nov 08, 2021 9:26 pm
It'll be a huge gamble for the club to appoint Flynn in view of what appears to be an overwhelming vote against him by an admittedly very small cross section of the supporters.
Not that I think Tan will be swayed by what the fans may want.
If Flynn gets appointed and starts poorly the atmosphere at the ground will be even more toxic than it was during the last days of the McCarthy reign.

Over 100 votes.
97% of them for Morison. That speaks volumes.

Morison, without a doubt. This is an absolute open goal for the club, no financial outlay as such, what the fans want and also improves the pathway to the first team squad for the u23’s.
