I don't wish the Pope to die, I just wish he would be in pain a bit.

Catholocism has to be one of the most hypocritical religions around. Its a Great religion, but they need to move with the times. Unfortunately they won't. You only have to see Vatican City and all its riches whilst Catholics suffer in poverty to see they arnt willing to move forward.
The Catholic Church, in my opinion is based upon discrimination. I don't see why the tax payer should have to pay the bill for him coming here
The pope is against gays, female priests and contraception. Now THAT is third world to me.

He was invited as a head of state and is therefore afforded all relevant diplomatic courtesies, please get off your high horse!
Oh, and keep any prejudicial, sectarian bollox associated with another nations football separate from Cardiff City.

The fact that the Vatican City is a state makes me laugh - I don't Vatican FC playing in the Champions league!

Oh sorry for expressing an opinion! And exactly where did I mention anything sectarian about another nations football team? Or is it because you can see I'm a Rangers fan and jumped to conclusions. Didn't see you jump so quick into defence of religion when people on here are slating Islam or Judaism.
Robert Mugabe is a head of state too. Doesn't mean its a good thing..

Rngers and Celtic don't sing any worse songs than English teams. We sing about Harold Shipman and Maddie McCann. Leeds sing about Munich air crash, Man U sing about Hillsborough, Millwall sing about Galatasary to Leeds fans. Other fans sing songs abou DJ.
