Would you own a football club

If you were a millionaire would you spend your hard earned money on buying and running a football club?

The amount of money that is wasted on underperforming players and managers would be too frustrating for me (vassell and tomlin perfect examples). Unless you’re in the prem it’s almost impossible to make a profit so what incentives do these owners have?

Not a chance You could take a team from a lower division to the premiership and people will complain you are not putting in enough of your hard earned money Even thou they may only pay a couple of hundred quid to see their team.
I think you either have to have a massive ego or mentally insane to buy a football club
