Jay Bothroyd names his perfect choice for Cardiff City manager
Jay Bothroyd has urged Cardiff City to appoint former captain Mark Hudson as their next manager during an impassioned plea following the Bluebirds' defeat by QPR.
Andre Gray's goal in Wednesday night consigned Cardiff to their ninth defeat in 10 games, leaving them just one point away from the relegation zone after 16 games of the season.
It's fair to say that the Bluebirds are in dire straits. Managerless, rudderless and players running on fumes with regards to their confidence levels.
And for Bothroyd, remembered as one of the finest strikers this club has seen in a generation, he believes that his beloved Cardiff City simply must get this next appointment right.
"It’s imperative that Cardiff get this appointment right because my club is not where it is meant to be," he wrote on Twitter after Wednesday's loss.

Worth pointing out that Hudson was caretaker manager of Huddersfield for four games over two spells and they lost all four games.
