Tom Sang situation?





It’s just painful and it’s in his toe - and you need your feet! It’s the one thing you can’t rest.

He feels fine but then he goes out and plays football and he has to use it again.

With your toe, you can run, fine, but how about whack a ball? And all of a sudden it hurts again.

It’s a constant process.

He is out on the grass.

We are going into an international window where we can use this time where we don’t need to force anything.

We have a couple of friendlies with the under-23s over that period and hopefully he will be OK after that.

Huddersfield never took the knee

Terriers break up the other end and Danny Ward finds space, a similar distance out to Giles. He does the same thing, though, and pulls it wide of the mark.

Jonathan Hogg plays a pass and then goes to ground in a crumpled heap. Flashes of Joe Bennett earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Danny Ward does the ayatollah to the Canton Stand.

Nicholls hits a horrible ball out and Bacuna intercepts and slides it into Moore. Instead of shooting, Moore passes to Harris and the chance is gone.

That's the difference. Huddersfield score their chance and Cardiff fluff their lines.

If we could pass it further back than the keeper I'm sure we would.

McGuinness muscles Toffolo off the ball, the Terriers appeals for a penalty. But goes the other way, with referee Webb penalising Toffolo for handball. Cardiff reset.

Pack fizzes the ball into Harris, who pings it off, first time, to Ralls. But the captain doesn't connect properly with his shot from 20 yards and it's wide, again.

Nelson and Giles do well to link up down the left before the latter forces a corner through a blocked cross. He will take said corner...

City need to learn to shoot on target

It comes to nothing. Stifled appeals of handball and a scuffed Moore shot means Nicholls can gather.

Nicholls puts his defender in trouble with a roll out and Ralls intercepts, but he cannot drive towards goal and all he can do is earn a corner.

Giles does well to get down the line and cross, but it's too close to Nicholls, who punches the ball but also catches Moore.

Blood pours from the striker's face and it's a stoppage in play.
