Cardiff City interim boss Steve Morison told BBC Sport Wales

Wed Nov 03, 2021 11:15 pm

Cardiff City interim boss Steve Morison told BBC Sport Wales:

"We lost, everything else doesn't really matter.

"We felt we were in control of the game, with and without the ball, in the first half and then that one moment we get wrong and they punish us, that's where we are at the moment.

"The goal was the decisive moment, great pass, great finish and we didn't really have that, I can't dress it up any other way really.

"We needed a moment of quality, they had it and we didn't."

Fair and refreshing assessment for once

We didn’t do much wrong Tonight bar their goal but didn’t do enough either ourselves draw probably would have been fair overall but they got the goal and held onto that well for the rest of the game

I can honestly see Morison getting it right after a few more weeks even with what most will agree is a light squad lacking real quality overall

He's spot on there, can't argue with any of it.

A nice refreshing change from the usual" I thought we deserved to win the game, proud of the boys, ref was awful" shit.
Wintle at blackpool must come bak in january, is getting rave reviews at Blackpool, running midfield (Hmmmmmmmm wonder what we need in there?) Get whyte and waters back (just realised three w's!) Add two new starters to the mix, will keep us safe, and also give the youngsters a breather from the hectic pace of the championship, not saying don't play any, but I believe it would help their improvement in the long term, not to be expected to carry the pressure straight through a long season. :old: :bluebird:
