8 losses on the bounce
3-0 after 46mins
3 welsh men score to equalise
If Carlsberg did comebacks……..

Yes is the answer. One that springs to mind is Leeds away 3 down to get 2 back then morrison sent off and then an equalising 3rd. Limbs everywhere and the look on leeds fans faces after giving it large all game. That pips it for me

That was a magnificent come back with with of the best assists ever (Tomlin) but today our club was at a really low point and 3 down on a back of 8 defeats having scored just 1 goal with a manager in his first ever senior position.

Was that Glaztel fluff kick for the equaliser?

When we played West Brom at The Hawthorns and equalised in the final seconds. Limbs.

Playing Hartlepool at home think during the first petril strike losing 2 nil then winning 3-2 with two goals in injury time after Scott muculoch came on.

Probably when Peterborough got it back to 4-4 against us when we were 4-0 up.
I was there and don't think I'll ever get over that game.

Two great comebacks in the same week I seem to remember about 20 years ago. Firstly we were 2-1 down with 2 minutes to play against Lincoln City in a match that Gavin Gordon scored a brace for the Imps and came back to win 3-2. Later in the same week we played Hartlepool at home, went behind 2-1 in the 88th minute yet still won that game 3-2 as well, thanks to a winner from Kurt Nogan.

Yes, we did and there were others, too!
I recall leaving early at 2-0 down going into injury time v Wolves once. My neighbour asked how we got on? Lost 2-0, said me...
Later he asked if I was actually at the game, as we drew 2-2 with two very late goals; a lesson learned and rarely repeated

I was there for this and think maybe we won 3-2 against Lincoln in similar circumstances the week before or after ?

4-1 down against Plymouth with about half an hour left in a league cup tie back in the eighties. They were in a higher league than us. We won 5-4!

That’s the one I was going to say. I was there for that. If my memory serves me right we had a ‘bye’ next round as Luton banned away fans and were kicked out. We then beat Chelsea at home 2-1 then lost away to Shrewsbury.

That Wolves anecdote is exactly what happened to my mate. I was at the Wolves game with him and because we were 0-2 down with 5 minutes to play and he was keen to see his new girlfriend, he left the game early. He didn't find out about our two late goals until he saw the results in a Sunday paper the following morning. I never let him forget about it !

Remember that Shrewsbury game.. got stuck with a rather portly gent in those old victorian turnstiles, so everyone was jumping over the roof to get in..
The Lincoln one was short relief for GG, as it sadly never really worked out for him.. that Chelsea 84 game still rankles.. should really be over it by now.

Plymouth Albion in the league cup back in the 80s. With my user name you might guess that i have spent many a Saturday afternoon being abused by 22 players!
Anyway back to the story, I was appointed 4th official for the game and it was the practice that i would be seated on the end of a bench outside the little dug-out the City subs were sat next to me and i was chatting with Alan Curtis (a great guy).
The match kicked off and by 40 minutes city were 4 -0 down, I remember Frank Burrows turning to me and saying " we are the only one of your four B.....s not having a nightmare", Curts was in hysterics.
Anyway just after half time Burrows shouts to Curts get warmed up you are on. with 40 minutes left in the game Curts gets on and he pulls all the strings to see City come and win the game 5-4, the pity was that there were few few people at the game to witness it, Now is that the come-back of all come-backs

I learned the very same lesson at the very same game. Never left a game early since..

The 5-4 against Plymouth was an evening game in 89 in the 1st leg of a league Cup game played in the most windy conditions I have ever seen.
4-1 down and finished 5-4 with 8 of the goals scored at one end (wind assisted end)
Cardiff went on to win the 2nd leg 1-0 at Home Park so 6-4 on aggregate.
