I agree with this. I'd definatly stay in the UK - It's my home, no matter how fucked the government is. However, I'd like to do a tour of the National Parks in North America, and do a lot of travelling to places I otherwise realistically couldn't afford.

With the amount of interest you make on your lottery winnings, why would you care if you're taxed 12m? If you're taxed that amount it means you have at least double that. Why would you need £24m to be happy?
Id be happy with a million. Enough for a decent house, car, holiday etc. Britain is still great....compared to a lot of other countries. A lot of other countries are worse than Britain.

I would definatly stay in Merthyr, no matter how much I won.
I'd donate half of the whatever millions to help the heroes.
Then keep the rest for myself, familly and friends. I wouldn't give friends money, I would treat them. E.G. I would buy a box at CCS for people off here

there was a time I'd have stayed and invested it in my beloved club, Cardiff City FC, but the way things are going at last (

) even a lottery win would be a drop in the ocean. So, it would be a different house but not too far from Cardiff and frequent 'bettery-charging' trips away to sunnier climes....
Agree with the 'Britain no longer great' remark though....but think we all must share some of the blame for its demise. We've become a bit of a selfish nation harping back to the deeds of the past when, in reality, we need to concentrate on the now and the future and realising that the odd 'kick up the backside' for the young and the feckless is not such a bad idea....
Oops, Party Political Broadcast over....

I would be gone in a flash. Once I thought about setting up in Amercia but thats to far from the City. I reckon I would now go to the South of Spain or Portugal but somewhere near an airport to fly back for the football.
When I worked in Seville I was about 40 minutes frive from the coast away from the tourist areas. I could have quite happily find a nice place there and retire. There are regulat flights fron Seville to Bristol so tbh it would have been perfect.

Mougins would also be a nice place. Although it's not on the coast, it's not far and is a beautiful place to do not very much with the rest of my life

Twelve Million?
I'd fix it so I was given a passport for the Caymen Islands. Hopefully, all my money could
swerve paying British tax and the thieving bastards would see none of it.
I'd loan TG and the club £4m, and take out a share option of around £4m too. The loan I would
take back over 25 years interest free so it doesnt become a bind. I would become a non-executive
director.
My only real stipulation for the investment would be that once the extra tiers are complete
the lower tiers in the Canton and Ninian would be standing permitted zones, and the upper
Ninian Stand named after my grandfather whos full name just happened to be "U. Jack. B'stard"
Then buy all mod cons. Luxury yacht in the Caymens, luxury home. Penthouse flat down the bay.
...and live off the loan repayments to the Club which would be roughly £3k a week
not that I've ever worked it all out
