Kieffer too good to fire blanks
Kieffer Moore scored 20 league goals last season, netted a wonder header for Wales at the Euros, has scored in the World Cup qualifiers this season.
Yet in 2021-22 he has a solitary goal to his name, away to Blackpool early on.
The big man hasn't suddenly become a bad striker overnight.
He may be a little annoyed a move into the Premier League fell through, but Cardiff need their number one asset firing again. And quickly.
That means providing him with proper service.
Far too often this season Moore has cut an isolated figure up top, battling on his own versus two or three defenders and feeding off scraps.
The one time McCarthy actually chose an adventurous line-up of two wingers, Ryan Giles and Mark Harris, with Colwill also in support, he opted to start James Collins instead of Moore against Middlesbrough.
A perplexing decision.
Moore is too good a player not to start scoring again.
When he does, the Bluebirds will quickly climb the table.

For me, it's all about (a) him being pulled away from his best position on the field, and (b) a distinct lack of service
Put him back in the middle, get someone to play off him and get others, like Ryan Giles, to get the ball into the danger areas
Keiffer himself looks frustrated and we all know he is our team's talisman

In the interest of fairness he may not have become a bad striker overnight but one season of 20 goals doesn't make him a prolific striker either. In my opinion he hit a purple patch last season & now normal service has been resumed, he is an average striker in an average (at best) team at the moment.

I agree Chris, but I do believe his head was turned, with the opportunity to play in the prem?? Coupled with the shots formations/form of the side.
That player wolves signed is doing ok for them hwan chee is it? Looks a clever little striker.

Can’t agree with that.
You only have to look at how well he’s played for Wales this season. His hold up up play is what has allowed Wales to get some really good results, despite being crucified by referees in every game !!
He won’t get 29 goals this season but I’m sure whoever the new manager turns out to be they will concentrate on getting the best out of Moore, while he’s still with us !!

We're not talking about playing for Wales though are we?
His head was turned when someone told him he was worth 7 million & now he thinks he's better than us. At the moment he is worth about $7.
