A forum for all things Cardiff City

We are only 6 games into the season and like the vast majority of you I have gone through every emotion in that time. It is easy to sometimes get frustrated when the team isn't playing well, we think the wrong team as been picked or the Manager isn't changing things quickly enough when things are going wrong. But let's remember one thing this season, this is probably the best chance we will ever have of getting to the Premier League and showing the English what we are all about. Everyone of us as a part to play this season. When the boys are struggling that's when we can make a difference. This is our time, our chance to go down in folklore. Let the story be that when the team struggled the fans carried us. You know what 25000 Cardiff fans can do.
But the secret is don't wait for somebody else to start it off. We all love this club don't let the boys down. Come on, home or away I really believe if we enter the ground every game with the right attitude we will reach the promised land. Remember the Leeds game and remember the part the Scousers played at half time of the Champions league against AC Milan.
YEH, WELL THIS IS OUR TIME!

Good post, We always Cheer them on well at Away games, Its the home games that we seem to be totally lacking in Atmosphere.

I couldnt agree more, so I cant. We need to get the stadium rocking, but Im afraid this will only happen when we're entertaining a big team. The problem we've got is the club, when we moved, offered first choice of seats to those in thr grandstand, which at Ninian, blocks A and F aside, were always like a funeral. Now a lot of these fans are in the Ninian, spread out amongst the vociferous fans who made the move, and also all the boys who used to make the Bob Bank roar.
They seem to difuse any attempt of making a livelier atmosphere, as do the 'new' fans (who are welcome, Id just wish theyd make more noise).
And then youve got the club, who are doing their utmost to move away from chanting, standing and having fun.
I think were fighting a losing battle.

We all know whats needed is for the grange and canton to be swapped. Then you will see a tremendous atmosphere sadly the club have stated they will not swap these ends. The same people who used to sing in the grange, block a and bob are there but not dotted around a vast stadium and therefore its hard to get a constant noise going. Somehow NEXT season we need to try and get people in the same area
