West Ham are close to doing a deal for a 27% stake to a Billionaire with a full take over a possibility in the future ?
If that was the case could Sullivan being Cardiff born have an interest in buying city from Tan ?
I’m sure I have previously seen this muted a long time ago ? Or am I simply looking through blue tinted specs and wishful thinking ?

If he had any interest in City, he would have come here when he left Birmingham. He was quoted as saying he'd come here at one time but I think that was bullshit.

A non-starter
David Sullivan threatened to buy us back in the day but it never materialised and despite telling us all how he was a 'Penarth boy', he eventually went to the other Cardiff suburb of West Ham; telling their support how he was an 'East End lad'
You couldn't make it up; except he could and did
In his favour (maybe) he is rumoured to have helped the Bluebirds out financially at one point, although I cannot recall the details
Not one for us. That boat tried to sail but fell off the launch ramp some time ago!

Sullivan and Gold would be worse than Tan.
Look what they did at Birmingham.
They've only spent money at West Ham due to the size of that club and it's history. Amount of spending recently has only gone up due to the success David Moyws has brought.
They didn't plan this success. Moyes massively overachieved with an average set of players.
Big Sam has previously said the only job Sullivan gave him was "get me to the Premier League and keep me there". Only reason he left was due to high fan pressure over the style. There is no such pressure at our club from high levels of the fanbase.
Would not want Sullivan anywhere near our club.

Correct me if I'm wrong but West Spam fans cannot stand their owners. A season or two back they literally chased them out of the stadium by rioting.
