Interesting Steve Morison joined Cardiff City as lead coach for the U23’S in November 2019.
We had had some terrible results season after season in the U23’S, last season we saw an improvement towards the end of the season and this season 7 games, 7 wins![]()

That point is really important, particularly if we appoint someone who will take a longer term view and look to develop the club as a whole.
Morison wasn't an instant success, it took time for him to develop the team, playing style, etc. I just hope that the fans show any ambitious appointment some patience if things don't go right straightaway.

The problem is managing a team is a much more difficult job than coaching a team it requires a much bigger skill set and perhaps less than a third of good coaches will make good managers. Simply no way of knowing if any of the names mentioned will be good enough to be a really good manager, to some extent its pot luck, and Morrison is as at least as good a bet as any of them probably better as have knows the players and paticularly the youth team.
