Forest and Derby have had a terrible season so far, fair play their away support has actually increased :thumbright:

Forest No1 in away support :thumbright:

Derby No7 in away support, and usually their away support is not good at all.

Derby probably been boosted by play brum WBA Coventry and Sheffield United all roughly the same distance as Bristol or Swansea for us

All the clubs in the midlands should have the highest away support. There are so many clubs under an hour and a half away less time than it takes us to go to Bristol City.

This is true

Where we need to be looking is the huge 'drop off' in our own away attendances since the season started

Not good reading but sadly the club's hierarchy have taken their eye off the proverbial ball and allowed things to slip to the point of lethargy even amongst the regulars

Steve Morison has a big task over the next three games but if successful, we will likely see those figures pick up

City 'away' support are amongst the best. They get behind their team often better than at 'home'; but even their 'loyalty' is being tested when they see performances like we've had of late

Is there link you can provide to get this date. I like seeing all teams attendances and especially away support too. I heard Wrexham have huge away support now with the new owners

An interesting comparison would be total away miles travelled by each club to date.

Haven't got time to do them all so compared us to Forest and WBA who are in top two sports

All played 7 away games

Total distance traveled by Forest Fans = 861.8 Miles
Total distance traveled by WBA Fans = 1279.6
Total distance traveled by Cardiff Fans = 2221.8 Miles

Sad as it may seem I did this a few years ago having nothing better to do. We had the second furthest to travel. Cant remember who had the furthest. The Jacks were in the Premier so it might have been Middlesbro.

That season only the Worzels were within a hundred miles of us whereas some clubs had more than half their games within that.

What also boosts some clubs away attendances is that they are near to clubs like Wigan and Barnsley where the away ends are big, whereas our big derby against the Jacks are severely restricted.
