Very impressive from the Villa !! True fans indeed. I had a very good friend from Erdington in Birmingham. in 1979/80 went with the Villa to Cambridge FA Cup I think, thousands of Villa everywhere good bunch and they took over the ground no trouble whatsoever.

Villa in the late 60's and 70's always had huge away support and they were certainly not angels. Before segregation I once found myself in the middle of the Holte End, a huge Villa fan saw my scarf and gripped me by the scruff of the neck and marched me to the side of the stand and booted me out and snarled at me not to come back, he saved me from a hospital visit I'm sure, I still love Villa Park though.
