Our Loan Players - I believe that all our loan players Murphy , Wintle , Whyte and Watters will be back with us come January.
From purely a financial perspective we might not want Murphy back - but I can not see Preston wanting to be paying around £10,000 a week for someone who is not even starting for them when he is fit.
Some other club may want him …… but no one will want to pay even half his wages because no one really has much money.
As for the others - they are all on low wages and any new manager would want them back . How many of the 4 do you think will be back ?
This is just a curious question which which I am interested to know what others think .
My guess is 4 .

Difficult question whyte certainly Murphy probably because of wages like you say... other two do we actually need them at present time? But take watters back and leave our young strikers in under 23s for this season think things depends on who we bring in .

All four, they’ve been detached from the current shambles and so hopefully a young progressive manager should get the best out of them, especially Murphy, witness Bobby Reid who seems to have come good at Fulham.

Wintle is doing well and loved by the Blackpool fans, I've always liked the fact that Whyte gives a lot of effort and Watters has never really been given a fair crack by us so definitely take those 3 back Annis.
As for Murphy he clearly has the talent but not consistently enough. I've argued his case many times but to be honest I've had enough of players who don't give it 100% and want more players with a teamwork and 100% try attitude. So keep the 3 W's and let Murphy go

I’m thinking the same Annis. From what I’ve heard about Wintle he could well go straight into the team. Watters is untried really but I’m not a Mark Harris fan so surely he could be an effective sub? I’m thinking the same re Whyte.
On a different note, I’d definitely give Zimba a go on the bench; perhaps Morrison will be the man to try him.

Watched Oxford last week and Whyte got in a lot of really good positions. Although that’s what happens when you play a wide player wide and play attacking football.

Id definitely bring wintle and whyte back. Wintle sounds like a decent player and we could do with whyte in wide positions and for his pace.
Not sure watters is championship standard so probably best for his development if he stays at MK Dons for now.
As much as we need wingers, bringing Murphy back means we pay 20k a week in wages. Id rather bring someone else in with the 10k a week we are saving.

We're in a relegation scrap and he need players that are guna go out and give there all and Whyte is one of those players. We are desperate for wingers and he can cover/play at wing back too.
Murphy would probably just be baggage and not what you need for a relegation scrap.
Wintle sounds like he's worth a shout to try and shake up the midfield, could be like a new signing.
Watters I don't think is good enough to make an impact.

I agree with this opinion.
Wintle should return and given a run in midfield as the current crop have failed badly.
Also, each time I've seen Whyte, he has given 100% and should be in our current first team squad.
Murphy may look good in a good team...which we aren't and Watters appears a good lower league striker, who could be useful next season if we are relegated. They can both remain out on loan.

Maybe JM will try to impress a new manager as think he made it plain what he thought of MM tactics

But that means we are 10k a week light ( be glad when some of these silly money contracts are over )
Watters should stay where he is for the season.
Wintle should go straight into starting line up.

On Murphy I thought that he was a season long loan with no recall/return option ? At least I hope that's the case because I couldn't think of a player less suited to a relegation battle than Murphy !! He just isn't up to playing in the Championship, so now he's played under 3 managers here and another at Preston and nobody can get a tune out of him
I'm not sure what Warnock was thinking when he signed him for £10-£11m, I wouldn't pay a fiver for him !!
As for the others, on form I'd probably take Wintle back, he's playing well for a team above us in the table so should be able to do a job here.
I would take Whyte back as we're so lacking in wide players. I wasn't overly impressed with him but I could see him playing as a wing back. He certainly gives everything even if the quality isn't quite there.
Watters for me doesn't have enough to score goals at this level but maybe the new manager will want to take a look.

I don't know anything about Wintle but apparently he's doing well for another championship team. Given that our midfield has been a shambles, or non existent, we should take him back as soon as we can. I never wanted Whyte to go and I'm sure he would do a good job as a right wingback. Watters has never been given much of a chance so I would take him back too, after all. our strikers are not scoring at the moment so he couldn't do any worse. Murphy??? The lads got plenty of talent but refuses to use it.

I thought josh was on loan until the end of the season

We still have a recall clause etc

Whyte is a get your head down battler so let's get him back.
Murphy is a show pony with skill which we haven't got . Could he play at nos 10 ??
Wintle I just don't know much about other than he's not been given a chance and we're pants in midfield.

He was never given a fair crack.
He’s better than Harris.

Personally I don’t rate either Murphy or White, but I do think they are positions that we’re very thin on the ground so I’d be glad to get at least one back.

Get all our out on loan players back, Wintle is a lot better than what we have got, Whyte always put a shift in and in my opinion did well, with regards JM, if he only puts in a few performances then that could possibly help win us a few games.
As for watters, not seen enough of him, but I thought from what I did see of him, he was doing more than harris.
So it's a yes from me get them all back

New manager coming in all 4 will be coming back in January release clauses on all 4.
