Newcastle game suspended just before halftime for fan being treated for heart attack in the crowd .... let's hope fan is ok at moment playing football is irrelevant.

Just resumed 7 mins added time when game was stopped.. but atmosphere is very subdued. At moment

Fan taken to hospital and is in stable condition.

Watched the game and Spurs players were amazing - on top and going great before halftime when they noticed the medics in with the Newcastle fans they lead the ref to stop the game and Eric Dier raced across the pitch to get defibrillator sent out to help.

Common sense prevailed what with Ericsson recently and Bolton lad awhile ago not to mention other deaths and collapse by players around world it is in forefront of everyone minds now... glad they stopped playing until he was whisked to hospital was right thing to do.
