Saudis put blame on couple poor minions got jail time or something to try appease opponents ... as far as it goes matter is closed except for critics of the regime and his wife? She wasnt happy ncastle fans celebrating takeover suggesting they should have opposed it instead.......

Cheers Pembroke, couldnt really remember the outcome.

That's ok but unquestionably sheik involved but dont think any gvmnt keen on saying so especially us as to much to lose for a variety of reasons.

UK Government have already said they won't reveal what advice they gave to the Premier League or who was in the meetings because they "don't wish to damage relations between the UK and Saudi Arabia".

The UK Foreign Office held numerous meetings with the Premier League over the last couple of months relating to this takeover.

Lbgt+ groups objecting to fact they're banned from a n organisation wanting to buy a club!! ..... theres plenty of organisations waiting to jump on this particular bandwagon.
