No brainer GET HIM IN NOW CCFC OVER TO YOU VT

Re: Chris wilder

It might be a no brainer for you but for the people that matter it probably isn't.

How much would he want to be paid?

What transfer and wage budget would he expect?

Does he really want to take a job at the bottom of the Championship when he knows he can probably get a job at a better club in this league?

Does he even want to return to management?

It reminds me of when some on here were convinced that Eddie Howe would be our manager. In other words, not going to happen.

I said that Howe wouldn't be appointed and he wasn't - apparently we spoke to him and he wasn't interested. It would be a similar story with Wilder.

If you want a choice then here it is - Mick McCarthy or Mike Flynn.

I don't think a championship clubs only option is current manager or a league 2 manager out of work.

That's a general point.

But in the case of our club's decisions, yes it is.

Great post!

I often laugh at people who just say - ‘get rid’ or in this case … go and get him!

Some people so naive and have no idea about the ins and outs behind the scenes.

And don't they dislike it (I don't like the other word) when they're told...

We’ll have to agree to disagree, as again there’s no way our only choice is MM or Flynn. I think any manager out of work would be interested and some league one clubs managers and even some of the championship managers. For what it’s worth I don’t think we’ll get rid of MM at least until after Swansea game as club would have gotten rid by now if was going to in this break.
