Drinky missed 10 weeks last time this thigh issue flared up:

Fortunately I'm not too worried about Drinky as he might have been out anyway once the Kou recovered his match fitness/form. Hopefully it doesn't take 10 weeks tho.

If he is out for any length of time I would play Darcey Blake as a direct replacement to play the terrier role.

You are having a laugh aint you mate. Danny and oli are crucial to the way we want to set up this year. :ayatollah:

Oli definitely. Drinky probably.

But you can't deny that if Koumas finds his form Drinky would be the most likely one to lose out.

I would have oli and drinky sitting and if koumas can regain his form and fitness which is a very big if at the moment he would then be my tip to fight whitts for the free roll and then you have burkey and bellers on the flanks. :ayatollah:
I personally think Koumas has lost his desire to get back to where he was a few years ago.

I agree it's a big if and you could well be right, Whitts would be the other choice. That's the beauty of our squad IYAM.

Did the club look at his medical history? You don't have to look to far to find out he missed 3 months of last season with a thigh problem.
A medical is not compulsory for a loan deal. Therefore we've slipped up badly.
Maybe we are paying peanuts for him anyhow,
This might put a question mark over the Riggot deal.
If Drinkwater’s fitness is dodgy, Bellemy has got his knee problem the last thing we want is Riggot and his dodgy knee.
We've got scope for another decent loan signing to replace Danny.
