I’ll probably get slated for this post but…

I was so so angry with tonight’s toothless / clueless performance.

Cardiff City performances no longer spoil my week or weekend but I don’t think I can ever remember feeling such anger after a game only to be compounded by Keiffer and Morrison having a laugh and a joke with some opposition players. Not a well done, smile and a chat. Keiffer in particular was laughing his head off.



I realise that formalities and handshakes happen and I also get it that some players are also mates but surely after such a hapless performance they could have just said to the WBA players that they were joking with ‘see you inside in a minute’ if nothing else in respect of the fans that turned up to watch that absolute drivel. I’m sure if Mick had done it he’d have been slated and rightly so.


Tbf, Ryan Giles and Nelson looked devastated at the same time as ‘jokers wild’ was taking place.

No reason to be slated you are absolutely on point.

When the 4th goal went in you could see the exasperation on several players at the way there was 2 players on goal line unmarked waiting tap ball in net.... players did try hard but they are being stifled by negative tactics like 11 man defence for corners every game? poor goalie had no one to pass to as all our players were in pen area so no break possible even if wanted to do so.

Sounds piss poor,I missed it as I pissed off about on 85 mins

They are going through the motions , they know they wont be here next season.

The club is rotten at the moment.

Eddie May would have had them up against the wall after that debacle.

Perhaps the catalyst has been set and VT will sell now and take Choo and Dalman with him.

Spot on. Mick has lost the plot. He says teams have worked us out then plays the same formation but even worse centre backs as wing backs.

It was soul destroying watching that shower last night. The basics of football have been drilled out of them and not one of these so called "footballers" has any composure on the ball.

I have never seen a City side like it where none of them looks comfortable with the ball at their feet.

Our defence is worse than parks standard. The 3rd goal against Blackburn and the 2nd goal last night dear me.

Morrison and Moore usually are talisman at the back and up front have been awful. You can forgive mistakes and having a bad spell but their attitude and willingness to work hard has not been there and then they want to laugh and joke about it at the end of the game. Not f*cking acceptable.

Seriously put the under 23's in for the Reading game. The fans would get behind them and they can't do much worse than that shower of piss being served up. At least they can string 3 passes together.

I stayed well after the end and until everybody had left the pitch and saw the incident as well.
Was embarrassing.

I watched McCarthy’s reaction and he stood on the touchline shaking every players hand of both teams as they left the pitch.
I just hope he wasn’t so jovial in the dressing room but I really don’t think he gives a shit.

Lets be honest morrison has lost a bit of pace quite a few goals this season have come from morrison been passed by and left for dead with pace i thought the new lad at the back had a decent game
And flint does at least seem to have a bit more passion about him and always comes over to the fans.

I agree totally. I was disgusted with both of them.

Morrison is being asked to be the right side of a wide back 3 back with no full back. He doesn't have the mobility or pace to cover that space especially when there is only a slightly more mobile fellow center half pretending to be a wing back.
Of course, he is playing poorly. Nelson has the mobility for that position but his footballing ability is parks level.

To do it properly we need NG (R)- Mozza/Flint (C) - McGuiness (L) at least one defensive midfielder with mobility Bacuna a passer and two attacking wing backs Giles and ?? a striker Moore and two creatives who will run beyond the striker Colwell and Harris.

Otherwise Mick has to have the balls to drop Morrison and Play a flat back 4 Bagan (L) Flint & McGuiness NG (R) and go 433

From the opposition laughing at our players on Saturday to some of our players basically laughing at the fans 3 days later.

Imagine grafting allday, quick dinner and wash, out again, soaked for about the third time that day…only to sit through that absolute dogshite of an effort…..I’m sure they jumped into their fancy cars and drive back to a mansion in the vale without a care in the world…6 defeats but another 100k in the bank. Nice warm down today, light gym workout etc…..It’s almost criminal.
Meanwhile average fan gets home late (if he had fuel ), gutted at shocker he/she just witnessed.
