djs tactics AGAIN

to play the system we did last night surely you have to have a holding midfielder who can TACKLE and break play up, to me the obvious choice would be darcy blake instead we had 3 lightweights who didnt put a tackle in all night hence we got totally over run in midfield . also how unfit is koumas syrely not as unfit as when we took on robbie fowler ??????

Koumas is one of my all time best City players, but at the moment he is not a Shadow of the Old Koumas.

IMO the biggest single reason for our start to this season has been Oli and Drinkwater the agression and quality these two provide gives the foundation for the other players to express themselves.

As usual our starting 11 is as good as anything in the division but beneath that well that's where DJ earns his money, sending out such a lightweight midfield last night is a massive failing on his part absolutely no doubt about that.

We should also remember that during our run to the playoff final last season probably our two most consistent players were Gerrard and Blake. One has left the club the other cannot get a game and who do you think is the most aggresive midfield player out of Rae, McPhail and Blake.

Sorry DJ take a long look in the mirror this morning.

Yes it was poor and yes we've lost our first game of the season but Cmon fellas, not many teams can cope with losing 6 first team players.

I agree on that loosing that many players, Not many teams would be able to cope, but if we are to be a Top 2 team, WE NEED at least 3 more players.

CCFC seem to be content to sign only loan players and free transfers and NOT spend any cash on players , Im guessing now that the only reason we didnt sign Howard was that Leicester wanted a fee for him ?

Martyn, They refuse to pay fees at the moment, we might have to if we want to be a Top 2 team.

If we had Drinky or Oli last night things would have been different but to lose both was a bad blow.

Similar could be said of losing Bellers, Chops and Jay at the same time. Just one of those is a match winner, to lose all three is something that, hopefully, won't happen too often this season.

To be honest mate I'm disgusted with your comments. We had FIVE key players missing last night.
I agree about Blake, but FFS, Jones barely had a team to pick from. Darcy himself has just come
back from injury.

sending out such a lightweight midfield last night is a massive failing on his part absolutely no doubt about that.

And his options were what exactly???

There's not a team in ANY division could comfortably cope without 5 key players!!!

No wonder DJ gets so pissed off with the supporters sometimes
