A forum for all things Cardiff City

Cardiff City manager Mick McCarthy:
"I was concerned when we lost the first one. Then we came back and won (against Nottingham Forest) but I'm even more concerned now, by how we are playing and how we get back on track.
"That's all we can try and do on Tuesday (against West Brom) because it's coming thick and fast.
"When we started it looked like [we had a squad capable of pushing for play-offs] and after the run of results it doesn't look like that.
"That's something we've got to change and we have to start trying to change it on Tuesday."
West Brom manager Valerien Ismael:
“We need to keep going now and it’s a great feeling to win. Now we have an away game and we need to recover.
“I think from the first matchday we have showed the mentality to come from behind at Bournemouth, we did the same at Preston. We know we have the quality and we must stay focused on our performance.
"It’s great to have some situations because you know that even when the opponent scores we can come back at any time. It’s important to stay positive and stay focused on the job and finish ruthlessly."

Concerned being the operative word here.
I'm putting faith in the fact the odd are strongly stacked against us and when that happens we tend to pull something off. Sorry but my faith is very weak atm.

Pretty much how I feel as well. Best I can see is a narrow loss and a game like Bournemouth where we pretty much spent the game chasing shadows.
