if your going by car avoid the areas around the ricoh like longford and holbrooks all the pubs around there get packed on match days and takes ages to get served !

if you come off the M6 at junction 3 take the left heading towards bedworth/nuneaton a few decent places around there before the game
failing that just go into the city centre a few decent places to choose from

I remember a few of us went up without tickets the one year and headed into a pub not far from the ground, the landlord said it was best to head off before the final whistle as the Cov lads wouldn't be too happy about us being in there

was that the highfield ground cs ? was and still is a tough area around there .went there twice back in the day

blueman 39 just for clarity although you will be turning left at junction 3 you will be going away from coventry but the ricoh is north of the city so its not too far and straight down the A444 . much easier than going into the city where it will be a pain going north at that time of night
i know the area well my partner in crime lives 1 mile away from the ricoh

Last few times at the Ricoh we managed to get into the casino at the ground which was okay - but probably not when you've got your son with you!

No Mozzer it was actually at the new one.

I liked Highfield Road though, great character to the ground and always a good atmosphere. Loved walking through those old turnstiles under the ground hearing the noise of the away end above us, get the goosebumps going.
