MICK MAcCARTHY: "Kieffer Moore"

Fri Sep 10, 2021 9:40 am

The offer Wolves gave was £5mill Max and that was spread over 3 yrs.

Moore cost City £1.5mill plus add ons, so Moore if sold would of cost City £3mill.

If Wolves had offered over say £8mill, I believe and had heard he would of been gone.

MICK MAcCARTHY:

"Kieffer Moore, there was no offer that came in that was anywhere near the club’s valuation."

You surprised by the paltry offer?

MICK McCARTHY:

I don’t know why they don’t (table big offers). Waiting until the final few hours of deadline day and they think it’s the way to do business? I don’t think it’s the way to do business.

It makes everyone panic then. Everyone has a list. If that happens then we’ve got a list of 10 things that we might try, then other people have lists of things they might try. It just seems crazy to me.

If you really want someone you go out and get them. If you really desire that player and he is going to make a difference, you go and get them early.
