How long have fans been calling for kite academy players to be in first team.. then typically, turn on them after a loss.
Began. made faults , but how many did Bennett do whilst he was left back..Bagan will learn from his mistakes, will need a full season to bed in.
Sang I thought had a good game yesterday,
Let’s just lay off slagging them off, as they need our backing.
For some of our younger / newer fans , this will be a new experiance..

I think that our problem with the youngsters is that they haven't really had a reasonable "bedding in" period. So they are likely to make mistakes that we hope they learn from. I also hope that our fans don't start having a go at them when they do make those mistakes, as that will only make it even harder for them.

Too late for that.
The fickle fookers already digging at them.

think the frustration is at the strength of the squad as a whole and the younger players are just caught up in it ..
truth be told none of them would have been near our 1st team at any point in the last 10 years but are now due to circumstance....and people are going to comment on what they see....

The youngsters were specifucally named/targetted by the 'regulars'...

Look Im not being argumentative, and the post has merit, but at the moment, there is an awful lot of Instability at the club, and how we get through this and end this season is vital.
Whilst giving youth a chance may be the way forward, at the moment we need to play as experienced a side as possible to make us at least competitive.
secondly, our Youth are not good enough as a whole. Please dont play them just to say 'look at us blooding the youth'. There are one or two that could make it who SHOULD be in the match day squad.
Don't put the weight of a clubs expectations on the shoulders of a youth team who have struggled in their peer groups for the last few years. Championship footballers, or footballers in general need strength, speed, skill and an attitude, and I don't see this in the majority.
I'd like to see which of our youngsters are picked off by Premier teams or other Championship teams over the next 12 months.

Apparently we have eight of the best .
Their were only two who started on Saturday plus one on the subs bench, so Mick is not throwing them all in at once
I am all for out youth coming through big time, but the board were pushing for at least 8 to be in the first team squad , but not because they were all brilliant, but because they are in £400 a week.
I want to see youth come through, but it’s unbelievable that suddenly eight make it virtually in one season.
I think you will find quite a few will moved on by next season .
If two make it, that for me is good
I expect more from our future youth as I see some great ones there

Nothing will have prepared them for the speed of thought required at this level. That’ll take time to adjust. They’re aware of their mistakes, and stating the obvious is generally the preserve of the dipstick.

Time will tell if these kids are good enough. But one thing these kids need is experience at this level and to start to feel comfortable at playing at this level
I can remember playing internationals from age of 15 in my sport. When i was in my early 20s another player from my club who had never played at international got a call up He had been the best player at the club for a few years by a mile. But once he started to play international he took a long time to adapt and play well just because he was not use to everything that went around playing at international level.
If we don’t play these kids then how the hell will the become comfortable with everything that surrounds playing for the first team We have to expect some poor games and mistakes if we want youth to come through
It maybe that they have only come into first team because of the financial situation It maybe because ewe have a manager who will give youth a chance.
I really don’t think that Bagan and Sang have been that bad in fact i have been happy with them especially playing on a defensive roll that mistakes are more pronounced to those watching . Colwill to me has been average in comparison but gets away with more due to his position. Bowen i have not seen enough of him to really say anything about

I've never known it so bad on here its constant fault finding and total negativity about the club or manager? Yes I've complained about mm tactics but thats part of discussing games ... I probably see the game differently up on level 4 as see bigger picture...

You definitely see more of the ball on level 4 because it's in the air so much.
