Bacuna tried to play the ball out for the second goal.Poor.
Ball comes back in. Shocking defending.
I thought the bench looked poor today.
A very average team

We are so slow passing the ball and getting forward

Youngsters will make mistakes hes learning on the job. This is the problem with our fans and Youngsters.

Fans cry that we haven't brought enough academy products through over the last so many years then when we do we instantly question them and say they're out of their depth. Its pathetic embrace their energy and hunger, yes they will make mistakes how else are they going to improve. Same goes for Sang, colwill, Harris etc. They look a bit naive in parts but I can see the potential in them all which excites me

Spot on buddy .I am concerned regarding MM .when he first arrived he was positive and went for the result.maybe we had better players in Wilson and ojo.but todays formation at home 5-4-1 against a team who havent won for eleven games was baffling. None of the kids are good enough yet.todays bench was shocking.reality check needed

Have to agree, like Bagan but he has been caught out of position a few times this season (Barnsley equaliser in particular). He is young and will be a good player but expecting him to play 90mins every week is too much. We need cover, ideally Bennett!

Re: “ Out of his depth today? “

He did okay for a youngster. Can't complain about no youngsters coming through & then complain about them being out of their depth. No doubt this will be used to complain about not resigning Bennett.

Give youth a chance.

Have to say, yes. The left hand side is definitely our weakness. In defence and attack. But he's our only option so we have to persist and he will improve.

And there it is, the real reason for the question.

The championship is a ruthless league. Let them learn the hard way and look after them whilst their learning. Its either that or play it safe and sign bang average players with no future or give the young players a chance and be patient. Sometimes it feels like city fans want it all.

Re: “ Out of his depth today? “

If we want youngsters too come through we must be prepared for mistakes from them I do feel that both Bagan and Sang will become very good players For me it is Colwill who looks more out of his depth he does look like a kid playing in a mans game I have yet to be convinced by the hype we have seen around him

I do think thou that this will be more or a development year for a number of our players and that we will be a mid table team I am prepared for that and hope the development goes well this year for the young players

All of these comments? I've been saying this All season so far right from the pre season.

And we will just play more and more youngsters.....

I’d persevere with Bagan. He needs to improve his delivery.
It’s not his fault he’s got the likes of Ralls passing it back to him hemmed in on the touch line.
City need to encourage their youngsters.
Same with Sang - the more game time they get including Bowen McGuiness and Mark Harris the better.
I’d rather them than Bacuna Ralls Collins etc

Who is Baglan?

Probably the worst topic I've seen in ages.
A very average team and you single out a young player at the start of his career.

Very good points and I have to say that I fully agree with what you say.

Am also at a loss to see the hype around Colwill but really hope he lives up to the potential that others can see in him.

Spot on. Bacuna Ralls Philips Morrison anybody???

Harsh comments. Didn’t have a great game but he’s hardly out of his depth. Bagan has done well considering hes young and inexperienced. Sang struggled more.

A couple of players didn’t have a great game today, including Kieffer. Doesn’t mean they’re out of their depth.

i dont get why people moaning that the academy has not produced any players { which is a fact } are pathetic for thinking some of these kids being shoe horned into our 1st team are also not good enough.... your point seems to be based not on how good or not any of them are but purely on the fact they are young and were in our academy...
and no , making mistakes doesnt always mean getting better many just continue making the mistakes..hundreds of boys get to play the odd few games at first team level and end up failing at that level.. Ojo who was here last season is a prime example as is Coxe who got a few games but is now non league... ... the more you play them ,the better they get is naive at best....

I don’t think it’s the academy players we need to worry about really, it’s consistently playing Bacuna, he is a liability
