Sky sports red button help

Fri Aug 27, 2021 11:15 am

Bit of a random question that I hope someone can help with -
I’m on hols atm and just noticed that our match is ‘red button’ for 1230 tomorrow.
There’s a bar up the road that has Sky sports and multiple screens, should it be pretty straightforward for them to access the city game (red button) or is it different when abroad?
Cheers in advance for any help

Hi I think it would depend on how the pub accesses Sky Sports. As in is it through an actual Sky box or is it a satellite box that isn't Sky but picks up Sky channels? I am not an expert sorry but I would think if it's a Sky box with a Sky remote it will work, otherwise maybe not? Now TV offer bonus streams for red button games on certain packages but again it would depend on what package your local pub has I guess? Hope you get to see it.

Guy in pub said the the two main screens will be Man City and Derby games. He’s gonna stream city game but told me it’s 50/50 due to blockers.
