Agreed, but what if he isnt guilty?
His name gas been put out there, and he will never shift the mud slung his way!!
Not saying he is innocent, but he could be,but now in peoples eyes his name and rep is ruined, and will affect him in his whole life!
I believe in cases such as rape, no names should be made public, until trial is complete, cos even if found to be innocent, his life will change for good.

I get what you're saying, but sometimes it needs a name to be put out there to bring others forward, as in the case of Harvey Weinstein. Until his name was brought out for one case his other victims kept quiet.
The prosecution team needs to know that they have a very strong case before naming anyone because as you say, Mendy's name will now always be tainted, but the fact that there are already four counts of rape made by three complainants would make me think that they believe they do have a strong case.
On a technical note, a trial does not actually find somebody innocent but "not guilty," which could mean that there was just not enough evidence to completely convince the jury.

I meant to put . At end of the part before my "found to be innocent", as I meant that as a layman, from a legal language standpoint.I know that courts say "not guilty" and not "found innocent " hope that clarifies things?
