Cardiff City manager Mick McCarthy: "All the clubs I’ve played for or managed, all have a place in my heart, but when I play against them, I want to slap them.

"We’re professionals. I loved my time there and I’ll always be grateful for them giving me my chance to become a coach. I love going down there. When I go down there to watch games it’s great. I live in the area, but there will be no favours given."

Millwall manager Gary Rowett: “Murray who would’ve started on the left went into the middle and I think actually played really, really well [against Fulham]

“Simply because we felt Coops has been struggling with his back, had an injection, and I think got through the Portsmouth game maybe not at full capacity but actually today I thought he was much better. He looked like he was moving a lot better.”
