“ FAIR PLAY TO THE CCFC COMMITTEE “

“I SAY IT AS I REALLY SEE IT” :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluescarf:

To go to the away games at the moment it’s pay on the day / night when ever the games are :bluebird: :bluebird:

You don’t need to be a season ticket holder or member to pay on the gate :bluebird:

As to home games , Fair play to the CCFC board our home ticket prices are one of the cheapest in the Championship and you can pay on the day :bluebird: :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

Our Season tickets are excellent value for Championship football And U 16’s at £49 for a season unbelievable/ fantastic value :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

We are one of the Cheapest in the Championship and the majority of our fans including myself never paid for this season as it was carried over.

So come on BLUEBIRDS get your season tickets, we have currently 13,000, we should be looking at 18,000 plus. :bluebird: :bluebird:

Less than 4 years ago we had nearly 24,000 season ticket holders and a waiting list.

Support your club NO matter who the opposition is :bluebird: :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

Not asking for 33,000 capacity crowds, NO reason to not get 22,000 plus crowds, not asking a lot :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

You have your home grown players and one of the best strikers ever at City Kieffer Moore, now turn up and support the Bluebirds.

NO EXCUSES:

3pm kick offs, weather ok , not live on Sky, cheap priceS , kids not in school, transport running and it’s not Xmas shopping.

And you can pay on the day :bluebird: :bluebird:

David,

Every time we are playing in the Championship, that’s the kind of excuses I read, I know it’s laughable that’s why I put it on there .

I even here it might rain, traffic going to bad tomorrow, it’s to hot , it’s to cold, no parking etc etc BUT NONE OF THESE EXCUSES WHEN WE WERE TWICE IN PREMIER LEAGUE.

We should support our club/ team NO matter who the opposition :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Well said. Our home prices are very reasonable and doesn't price many people out of going :thumbright:

I'm going to the game on Saturday and can't wait. Been 18 months since I last got to a game so it will be great to be back :bluebird:

Re: “ FAIR PLAY TO THE CCFC COMMITTEE “

It was quite embarrassing the attendance first game of the season after 18 months of not being able to watch live football.

Fans say we are a big club but 17,000 is a poor show

Tony , I am like you, I say it as I really believe and see it :thumbright:

I was studying all the other clubs prices etc etc and Cardiff really are good value to watch for Championship football and to be fair to the Committee they have kept the prices low.

Our team / club deserves high attendances, we’ve not been below Championship football for over 18 yrs .

The support should be there on a regular basics, not cherry pick or just buy season tickets once in Premier, we have over one million people in surrounding areas :bluebird:

Over 250,000 fans on our fan base :bluebird: :bluebird:

I was shocked, No football for such a long long time, people not skint.
Everyone saying they were missing the Bluebirds.

I expected 25,000, would of been happy with 22,000.

TLG wrote on here , our five previous Championship games before virus all around 22,000.

The Club have done their part, fans now their part to play and turn up and support the Bluebirds :bluebird:

I am not looking for excuses but I think there are a number of factors which have impacted on this.

1. There are still many people who are very reluctant to venture out following the Pandemic, I see it on a day to day basis in my work involving community development. Many people have still not got their heads around the absence of social distancing.
2. The Welsh Government restrictions were only lifted just days prior to the match.
3. The late issue of Season tickets sales and confidence about attendance.

It will be interesting to see what attendance there is this Saturday :occasion5: :occasion5: :occasion5:

Well this Saturday v Millwall and following Sat v Bristol City will tell us If our fans are right behind our club as a club like Bradford City in League 2 and being awful for yrs got 19,000.

I can’t stand Drakeford but your saying he is to blame, well he is not invited in our next games, but I know if it had been v Chelsea/ Liverpool, Spurs etc etc fans would of turned up.

Hope I am wrong and they will turn up this weekend :bluebird:

It was put out 6 days before Barnsley game to over 200,000 Bluebirds that restrictions were all being lifted for the game.

I don’t blame the club or committee as they are making it fair prices and pay on the day :bluebird: :occasion5: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Cheap season tickets as well :bluebird: :bluebird:

In fairness Annis, part 1 of the post include in yours, has a big effect imho, I know a few who are not going,as they don't feel either safe, or confident enough to be around thousands of "strangers". I have two family members who wont even venture into town!! Sadly we als would have lost some, to "other vices" found whilst away?

But you are correct, the club are doing the fans proud with such great value prices, and I will be taking my great niece( just turned 7) to her first game v millwall! Wouldnt have chose that fixture a few years back, pmsl.and she is super exited!! We just make more noise for now, and hope some get confidence enough to come back.

Oneards and upwards CCFC!!

I must admit I was surprised how small the Barnsley crowd was. I do know some people nervous about big crowds whilst COVID still circulates (mainly because they have elderly or vulnerable relatives) but most of them have season tickets anyway because they are so cheap.

As you say, we can't moan about the price so people are running out of excuses.

All that said, I'm away on bloody holiday so miss the next two home games  :banghead: but my season ticket will be used.

I'm 66 now :old: and the season after my 60th birthday my ST cost £149 in the Family Stand and my ST for this season cost £149.

In my opinion we can't ask any more from the club, other than signing Bale ;)

I read somewhere on here Club late on sending season tickets out, yes they are, BUT in the crowd v Barnsley the 13,000 season ticket holders are included in the crowds that are announced. :thumbright:

Re: “ FAIR PLAY TO THE CCFC COMMITTEE “

Tue Aug 17, 2021 5:51 pm

I sometimes wonder if are crowds sometimes suffer due to the size of our ground unless we're in the prem you can guarantee a ticket on the day.
I know people who are planning on going to most games but are put off by the whether something else comes etc and only end up doing 12,13 games. The same people will get season tickets in the premier league and buy in advance for the season after incase we stay up when we were relegated still went to 20+ games as they already had the ticket.
