I Think they are much better suited to playing with 5 at the back.

Apparently, when MM arrived he told the players to do what they do best, don’t try to be something they aren’t. I think this is what these two have done and it’s reaping rewards.

Flint was flat out to come over at the end and applaud the fans which i thought was tidy first over morrison and ng both gave there shirts mick mcCarthy though needs to recognise the fans

On the stream I watched you could clearly see him clapping the fans for ages.

Pack is a totally different player under MM, he is the type of player we need. No nonsense, and keeps it simple.

I’m still not sold on Flint, I feel the money we paid could have gone on a much better, younger centre half. Still, the goal against Swansea will forever live long in the memory.

He also mentions the fans, and the noise they made all game, and he was glad they could travel back happy

Pack and Flint are your typical big physical no nonsense Championship type of players , you can see that since MM arrival their minutes and influence on the pitch has improved hugely.

I believe that most fans base their opinions on what they have just seen i.e. the most recent game.

If either Flint or Pack have a howler then it is quite right that fans should be critical.

On the other hand if they play well they get the plaudits.

Well done to them both tonight - two great crosses by Marlon and two thumping headers from Flint.

I can almost forgive them both for their girlie headbands and scrunchies - almost.
