CARDIFF CITY OUTPLAYED BLACKPOOL & CAME AWAY WITH THREE WELL DESERVED POINTS


2,000 Cardiff fans made the long trip North


Cardiff had only lost one of their last 12 away league games (Won 6 Drawn 5) and made it one in 13 with a well deserved away win.



CARDIFF CITY IN MY VIEW DOMINATED & DESERVED THE 3PTS WITHOUT A DOUBT



NEW SIGNING RYAN GILES WAS EVERYWHERE & FOR THE 2ND WK RUNNING MY MAN OF THE MATCH




First-half: Cardiff for 40mins outplayed Blackpool and should of been 4nil up. A totally one sided first-half.





Second-half: Blackpool played better, but Cardiff held firm and finished them off with a Kieffer Moore goal.

10th min: Ryan Giles was clean through for a one on one and he tried to nestle it into the bottom corner, but Chris Maxwell got low and saved brilliantly! should of been 1nil Cardiff.


13th min: Aden Flint with an overhead kick from close range and it clattered into the underside of the bar!


Cardiff had chance after chance.

That long throw caused havoc again! Pack launches it in, Morrison flicks on and it's as easy as you like for Bacuna at the back post.

He nods in, off the post, from just a couple of yards out. A deserved lead.





70th miin: Wow, what a hit!
Grant Ward blasts one from 30 yards and it's rocketing towards the top corner, but Cardiff goalie Phillips' acrobatic save denied him. That would have been some goal.





77th min: Moore on for Collins.

Vaulks on for Ralls.



Joel Bagan lucky not to be sent of for a foul


86th min: Giles put it in to the box for Kieffer Moore to finish off 0-2

Excellent performance that. Morrison made a difference at both ends of the pitch. Good to have him back. Only criticism being the amount of chances we missed!

Looking forward to Millwall now.

And, we've still got Vassell and Tomlin to come in.

Great result and we deserved it. Brilliant performances all round.

So much better than last week against Barnsley.

Good to get our first three points early on.

Four points out of two games is a decent start.


Totally agree about Giles, looks like a quality player.

Isnt in nice to say only complaint is we missed far to many chances? and no complaints about performance...

We're solid at both ends of the pitch. We'll get a lot of draws the way we play, the key is going to be finding a way to turn these in to wins. Giles could be the key, looks a hell of a player.

Player blasted ball it was going wide when it struck his arm.... under new rules that is not even a pen ... as arm was not in a unnatural position.
