In fairness I thought he was well worth 50k gamble. Also I understood there was.no fee and 50k amounted to his wages which is relatively small for 6 months.

Clearly he didn't do enough to impress and rightly let go. League 2 he should do well be how much he will play and be injured time will tell.

Apology excepted, it was posted by me before it was actually on the internet, a mate of mine who is very reliable asked me about Jonny saying that he had signed for them, but he was not sure if the terms that he signed, was correct because he said that he heard that he had signed on till January on a low wage, which increased if he made the match squad but if not just the retaining fee was paid, like him I cannot believe this.

Expected him to drop down into league 1 to be honest. Good luck to him. Hopefully he can stay injury free and have a good run of games.

flatters to deceive .... and has frustrated a number of managers over a decade....he looks as if he is a player and that there is more to come, but there never is..
but a genuinely really nice bloke so hope at last he can shine somewhere...
