Definitely good to be back and playing football again competitively.

Disappointed not to get the three points against Barnsley. It’s a point on the board and the other night, against Sutton, it’s always nice to get a win.

Yeah we are still finding our feet, it’s early days.

We put in a good performance on Saturday and the other night. The first 20 minutes the other night wasn’t the best.

Yeah, we have got a pretty hectic schedule coming up. It’ll be nice to set us up for the fixtures coming.

I’m a bit like Lazarus, I’ve come back to life!

I’m so happy the gaffer put his faith in me. I was out for a while with surgery and then I was out of favour under the old gaffer.

What do you expect from them?

Yeah they had a good win against Middlesbrough the other night.

They have got a bit of wind in their sails after being promoted last year.

Tough time for you?




Yeah. That’s new to me, it’s never happened to me.

Performances before that had something to do with it. A bit of confidence maybe? I’m not sure.

The gaffer has made me enjoy football again.

After loan, did you think this might be it at Cardiff?





Yeah it was in the back of my mind.

The old manager didn’t like me for whatever reason.

I’m not getting any younger. Thankfully Sheffield Wednesday gave me a chance before the injury.

You have to stay mentally strong in those times.

I came back two weeks earlier than the surgeon planned and played every game since.

Optimistic this season?




The gaffer is proven at this level. He has managed various clubs at this level and knows what he is doing at this level.

It got us out of a sticky situation and propelled us into the play-offs.
