Flint Captain / Kieffer Moore sub and Sean Morrison


We perhaps thought Sean Morrison would be fit enough to start today, but he has to make do with a place on the bench.

Fortunately, Mark McGuinness has been very impressive in pre-season and it is exciting that we will be able to see him in his first competitive match today. Good luck to him!

The other big news, of course, is that Kieffer Moore is fit enough for the bench, with zero pre-season minutes under his belt following his exploits with Wales at the Euros.

He and Rubin Colwill, both of whom contracted Covid in recent weeks, are named among the replacements.

There is no Ciaron Brown in the squad. He has been a target for Middlesbrough in this window, but whether there is anything to read into that is anyone's guess at the minute.

It looks like Ryan Giles and James Collins are going to provide much of the forward thrust in this team, while Perry Ng and Joel Bagan will be expected to do a lot of the heavy lifting at wing-back, too.

A decent team with good attacking options on the bench. Let's see how it goes!
