I remember them bringing about 300 to Ninian Park about 15 years ago. Right bunch of Neanderthals.

im not 100% on this still being the case but i think there is a number the away team can ask for without being liable.... i assume this is what they asked for ? over and above that figure the away team are paying up sold or not...

yes i remember that barnsley lot 15 years ago .probably pound for pound one of the maddest bunch i ve seen down here.

Think that mob was on the back of an away game early 2000’s from memory. Parked in the away section which was on a grass hill surrounded by houses. All of theirs coming through houses and over fences to get to us. Complete mayhem for ages think we still in their an hour and half after.

Rumour was a load of Leeds turned up with them. I am sure someone will correct/confirm and fill the missing bits on here.

Barnsleys own website said they had an initial allocation of 1513. I would think theyd be on a non return basis. Shame if theyve only sold 900 as, looking at other clubs charges, the £19 a ticket could be one of their cheapest away days of the season.

900 plus is excellent away support from them. Most they have probably brought is upto 500 since I can recollect

They brought that mob down here early 00s as it was the anniversary of one of their lads passing. They were put in walkabout and once our lot got it together plotted up in Sams Bar opposite, was an eventful afternoon. I know these things are frowned upon now and it wasnt big or clever but it was the sort of thing that happened. Not many came here mind.
