Saturday's Line Up

First game of the season who do you want to see start.. assuming everyone is fit and he goes with the 5-3-2 or 3-5-2

i'd go with:

tomlin (if fit)

if tomlin isn't fit I suggest he might go with Colwill if not bacuna (i hope not)

would also be happy to see mcguiness start but i think he will go with his original 3 cbs nelson morrison and flint

This is assuming that Moore and Colwill aren't match fit enough. Mick has already said that Tomlin can't start games which is why I've left him out.


I've seen Bacuna play as a winger for Curaçao and he's very good there.

Also have a good feeling about Wintle, although I don't think he's started many in pre season.

Pack playing as a defensive midfielder would give the other two more freedom.

The only real concern there for me would be Bagan at left back in a back 4.

Why do people think MM will move to a back four ?

Surely he would have played that through al the friendlies if that was his plan ?

Tbf, the poster who wrote a back 4 as part of his team has stated that it would be his preferred line up and that he didn’t think that MM would pick that side.
