" Predictions for Premier League and EFL "

The EFL begins on one week, so now seems like as good a time as any for the annual predictions across the Premier League and EFL.

You can obviously also include your predictions for Cardiff City, if they aren't in the featured places, but there is already a topic dedicated to that as well viewtopic.php?f=2&t=223007

Mine are below:



Premier League

Champions: Manchester United (would change it to Manchester City if they sign Jack Grealish and Harry Kane)

Top Four: Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool

Top Six: Tottenham, West Ham

Relegated: Norwich, Watford, Brighton

Championship

Champions: West Brom

Automatic Promotion: Fulham

Play-Offs: Middlesbrough, Bournemouth, Blackpool, Cardiff City (maybe being optimistic on that last one)

I don't get your point.

I don't believe Barnsley will be as good of a team as last season, but I believe that to be the case for most teams this season. I happen to believe losing Wilson, Bennett & Ojo and replacing them with what we have isn't going to make us any worse, in fact I think we're a better outfit with more cover in problem areas last season. So how have I changed my mind exactly? Barnsley being worse this season doesn't automatically mean they're going to finish lower..
