For me 30,000 crowd is not asking a lot as everyone has not seen football for a long time, so many say they have missed it badly, not live on Tv, can but your tickets , it’s a Saturday, not winter, not Xmas shopping and it’s 3pm, what everyone asks for

The club currently have no plans to run a ballot for the home fixtures including Barnsley which is being played on the day Wales lockdown is scheduled to go to level zero (or when I was a kid naught) this should allow the club to have a full capacity stadium of 33,500.

There may be some very minor restrictions with masks but the club are gearing up business as usual.

There will be several announcements over the next few days from the club in regards, to season ticket cards, memberships, purchasing tickets for up and coming home league games, cup games and away travel.

The idea of a ballot was muted as a possibility of home supporters getting to watch home games a month ago when there was no guidance available from welsh government.

Bought my tickets , but it depends if Uk change it to quarantine from Spain, will know next week, what ever happens my two tickets count towards our 30,000 crowd that should be announced

Let's hope the pent up frustration of fans will lead to big crowd but think it will be 20k+ rather than 30k not making excuses just being practical....

I would think 20000 will be the crowd..hope its lots more though

Tickets not on sale yet so we can have no real clue..but we know we have 12000 season tickets plus possible 1500 from Barnsley ..so the worse we can get will be 13500.
Tickets should go on sale soon probably waiting for further confirmation from WAG..by midweek we will have a better idea of how sales will be.
Will we lose fans who have got out of the habit or still no sure of mixing with crowds?
We haven't had a transfer window that will encourage sales so if we get 20000 k I won't be too surprised

Why on earth will we get 30k+? Our regular support is around 15k - 20k and I certainly won’t be disappointed if we hit the 20k mark. We had games in the Premier League where we didn’t reach 30k crowds and that was with over 22k season tickets, we’re currently on 12k season tickets sold.

Anything above 20k would be great. Lots of people will be nervous still of going to large events, plus people are always away on holiday in August. Added to that its Barnsley, not the sexiest of fixtures is it! Would love to see 30k but realistically I would say 18,500 is more likely. If its a nice day, a walk up crowd may make it 20k.

25,000 has to be, just cant wait, all the City fans i know are coming along, bluebirds

for me this is massive, missed it so much, must be 27,000 plus, as we would get that if we were playing Man United, City, spurs, we are Cardiff, so we should fill it anyway, if we are as big as we say

Why should it be as low as 15,000?

Why can’t it be 30,000 including 1,500 Barnsley?

If it was v a Premier Club it would be a sell out a fact.


City have 250,000 fans on their fan base .


They have nearly 360,000 followers on Twitter everyone knows about the game , first proper home game for 16mths.
