Good I was going to cancel my holiday aont walking around in.the heat with a mask on outside.,I can understand to a degree indoors but its a big nonsense out doors it shouldn't be mandatory,it should be personal choice

Listening to the radio this morning an expert explained that masks which are not up to the standard of surgical masks are a complete waste of time.

This is because the Corona virus is very much smaller than the fibres within the mask and can easily penetrate it. He gave the analogy of throwing marbles at some scaffolding, whilst some marbles would be stopped by hitting the posts nearly all of the rest would easily pass through.

I have for a long time been sceptical of just how much protection we get from masks. During the New Year wave infections were just as bad as they had been during the initial wave in March/April 2020 despite the mandatory wearing of masks.

When the public enquiry comes out I'm sure that they will find that mask wearing was simply a psychological thing and had no scientific basis at all.

I absolutely agree with this and I stopped wearing one some time ago.

Most of them that are worn now are more a fashion item and not not even fitting properly.

You can see gaps around the nose area not to mention the countless people who where them below there nose!
