Moore and Colwill not here but understandable due to being at the Euros.

Ralls, Whyte and Morrison not here though which is strange?

Very quiet second half. Enjoyed the first half even given for the poor opposition.

Not near enough nous yet in the second period to break down Bath. Bath having too much possession this half. Isaac Davies showing some decent flashes but apart from that.....

Finished 5-0 :thumbright:

Not really about results obviously, all about fitness at this stage and maybe trying out different tactics.

Apparantly due to the bad injuries both had last season they were rested along with the other not playing colwill,(Euros) baccuna (tournemant?) morrison, (rested)ralls, (rested) moore,(euros) and Murphy which i see no reason why he is not playing except if he has an injury or being sold, you heard it here first. ;)

:laughing5: Genuine question mate. Fully fit, he’d be an asset this coming season.

Totally agree. A fit Lee Tomlin would totally change our way of playing and make it so much harder for teams to defend against, but he really needs to be fit.

Chipped a tooth on his half time orange apparently - hoping to be back early in the new year.

Extended interview with Mick and highlights of the goals from yesterday. I know it was only a friendly but you can see that goal meant a lot to vassel. The boys are clearly behind him as well. Hoping he can stay fit. With his pace he could cause defenders problems playing off Moore.

1st half was much better than the 2nd.

Vassell did OK actually. Chased down the ball well (I was worried he would injure himself haha) and put himself in good positions. Unlucky not to grab another goal but their defender did well to get into him.

Tomlin did OK, looked a bit overweight but put a few good passes through and linked the middle with the wide men and the ones up top which we have been lacking a little bit.

Watkins didn't really get going and was taken off 2md half.

Didn't really get to see much of Wintle but he was put as a defensive mid I think so sat deep.

Our 39 I think it was Davies did well, looked sharp and made a few good runs and had some good touches.

Pack looked good. Broke up play and again, managed to link the middle with the top.

Tbh if you look at the highlights he looks around the same as when he was playing well under Harris. Getting Match fitness will probably drop a few more pounds off him too
