The English Football Association has been fined £25,630 (30,000 euros) by UEFA for the behaviour of England fans during the Euro 2020 semi-final win over Denmark, which included a laser pointer being shone at Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

Its not exactly their fault
I always find stuff like this a bit backwards, its like if a Cardiff fans decides to be a prick and run on the pitch at one of our games the club gets fines £10,000, whats are the Club supposed to do other than our fences back up and in the same breath what can the English FA do if some know takes a laser pen in other than strip search every single person who ever enters a football stadium.
Bizzare.

Sorry for the poor spelling above, typing on the phone.
Basically what I'm saying is its not the FA's or Clubs faults depending on the game, if anyone should be punished its the fans.
If I was in charge of the English FA I'd filter the fine down into the ticket prices and tell the fans to police each others behaviours.

with tickets priced between £210 and £800 i thought they had done that already... should be enough in there for everyone to have their own personal steward...

Stephen, I agree with you. The FA (and other bodies, including individual clubs, can only do so much
In event these people are identified (a difficult task, I know) they should share the cost of the fine and then be banned from any stadium events

agree in that a lot of this its not exactly the FAs fault.. but the fine itself is a joke.... eg.. estimates vary re the gate crashers in the final but ive seen it as high as 5k....however many of these were people who had tried but failed to buy tickets for hundreds of pounds.... so even if the FA could track them down and split the fine , a fiver or tenner each i doubt would be breaking the bank ....
