Three Championship sides HAVE been placed under a transfer embargo by the EFL.
Late on Wednesday, just before England's Euro 2020 semi-final win over Denmark, the league confirmed that Hull City, Reading and Derby County are all under new restrictions ahead of the new season.
In simple terms, it means all three sides(cardiff not being one of them ) are unable to pay any transfer fees this summer and can only sign players released by other clubs that fit within the financial restrictions the EFL impose.
