A number of Premier Clubs have shown interest in the Welsh international, but were only willing to pay 50% of Bales wages.

whats been said Wez... quite a bit of wishful thinking by fans ...and GB himself stating that if he revealed his intentions for the coming season prior to the EUROs it would cause chaos..... ..not sure about you but a player seeing out his final year at the club he is contracted to dont seem like chaos to me.....

I mean anything you see on Global247 is most likely bullshit anyways. I don’t think most on here were taking it too seriously, more just speculation.

You could argue that Real Madrid having to find £480,000pw to pay a player for doing nothing during the current financial circumstances might cause a bit of chaos?
Also I'm not sure that GB was expected to stay at RM this coming season. Surely RM would be banking on a loan to the Premier League in order to share the burden of his wages?
If GB refuses to play ball then RM will be severely out of pocket.

Because he had been tipped off Ancelotti was going there to replace Zidane. Obviously he couldn’t say that.

What you say is partly true but in Bale's case you have to put it into perspective. If he stays at RM for the final year of his contract it will cost the club (RM) £25m. That for a player who doesn't even have a squad number.
Like you I don't think GB will stay at RM but if he was engineering a pay off reminding the club of the cost of keeping him and the potential chaos to their finances and having an unhappy superstar is not a bad idea.

i have put it into context mate.... the huge contract and the dilemma for RM regarding it have been there and been an issue for at least a couple of years now.... its been discussed in multiple press articles even been topics on here regarding it a few times...the situation quite simply has not changed a great deal since RM were at first willing and then not so willing for him to go to China on a free transfer 2 years ago.... for the life of me i cant think of many scenarios where the word chaos fits..
