So you signed up (or reinvented yourself) just to boast about the Holland game...? :?

Nothing to boast about, fella. Put simply, you shouldn't be there...!

And the UEFA officials Chris?

How long are we going to let politicians take the piss out of us and hang on their every word?

Have to say, I am with you, they are taking the piss big time, it's like they enjoying rubbing salt into the gaping wound :banghead:
If you are a real fan, and are there, for this occasion I say good on you, this has nothing to really do with covid imo, it's very political, and sadly, we have no decent politicians in wales to stand up to it!!

Can you imagine the thousands in the red wall in Amsterdam, a mere hour or so away?? It's simply not fair that we can't do this 12 hr bubble trip, the boys deserve our support, sadly it ain't happening, the council's have shit out of fan zones, so it's around your mates house, or the pub to shout and scream our support, sadly it won't transfer to the boys playing :(

Not having a go at you bluesince62, but how many times have you written to your MP (a simple email) expressing your views? And for that matter how many times have other dissenters on this topic written to their MP's?

Trust me, MP's get uncomfortable when their email bag gets innundated with legitimate complaints. Firstly, by law, they have to respond to you, secondly the more the noise the more they feel uncomfortable. The MO once they start squirming, and realise that they represent the people, is to go and have a quiet word with other MP's and move it up the ladder.

Please write to your MP if you feel strongly about it. :bluebird:

Boris is letting TWO AND A HALF THOUSAND "officials" into the country without any restrictions.

Corruption doesn't even need to hide any more. They just wave it in plane site and we turn on EACHOTHER.

They'll be out eating, getting taxis, doing whatever the f**k they want whilst native British people like mysf can't even fly home to see my family without jumping through hoops and paying hundreds of pounds and risking getting fines thousands or locked up. It makes me sick.

I know your situatoon, Jack; so no issue there...

My response was simply to someone who joinrd (or rejoined) 'boasting' that he'd gone against the 'ban' (no matter how unjust) and thinking he was some kind of anti-hero

Not in my book, I'm afraid; and the shenannigans of UEFA Officials is another book (maybe volume) of its own

We live in a world where too many are out for themselves no matter what the potential consequences for others around them

That's fair chris, I respect your opinion mate but if these guys call themselves leaders they have to lead and set an example.

Any company, or team, or country with leaders have to set an example or they can't expect anyone to take them, or what they say seriously. That's the reality of it!

We clearly aren't "all in this together".

Thanks for the advice mate  , but let me assure you, in my time, I have written to my mp on numerous occasions, for a variety of reasons too, including housing, disability user issues, road closures, parking outside school gates etc etc, as I've always believed if you just sit in your hands, nothing will ever change, and in truth have always had a response back, sometimes the next day, sometimes longer, but always a response, as you say, it's their duty to reply  and yes I wrote a long and strongly worded email as soon as it was mentioned fans would not be allowed to go to the game! I hope that answers your post mate  and I take no offence at you "having a go at me", I've even got letters from the house of Lords, in response to an issue from a few years back, to do with the the unfair treatment of couples who happened to be childless, by the housing department in cardiff, only to find it was the case country wide, where councils didn't have a "bkx" that these people fitted into!! I took this fight up, as my daughter and her husband, couldn't get housed for these "reasons" and we're told in cardiff, "the best way to get on the list,is to get pregnant"!!!! :old: :bluebird:
