CITY AFTER CORRY EVANS?

Mon Jun 21, 2021 11:48 am

Football insider:

Stoke City and Cardiff City are chasing Blackburn Rovers midfielder Corry Evans.

His Rovers contract expires at the end of the month and both Cardiff and Stoke have registered their interest as Evans becomes a free agent.

This only makes sense if we get rid of Pack and at least one other central midfield player.

He is experienced and retains the ball well but slow... But ffs the last thing our midfield needs is another one paced (slow) midfield player.

I know it's still early days but we need to add at least two attacking midfield / wingers to the squad... Three if Tomlin moves on

Unless 1 of our 4 CMs are leaving, this signing makes no sense. Even if 1 of the 4 does leave, this doesn't solve the lack of pace and creativity in the middle.

If we can all see what's needed why cant the Club.

It would not suprise me at all considering the finished the season playing about 7 defenders
