O/T Computer Help Pls

Hellllllo

i bought a lead so i can connect my laptop to my tv i have 2 hdmi slots at bk of my tv and a VGA socket on my laptop i bought a lead that fits perfectly for the VGA and obv into my tv,,,i cant get a picture from my laptop onto the TV?? ive tried using the fn key wth f4, tried loweing the screen resoloution etc


any help is appreciated, its drivin me nuts!

Sounds a bit basic, but have you changed the input source on your Tv to whichever hdmi slot you have chosen.

im afraid fella those vga to hdmi cables will not produce a picture on your tv
they are used in china for certain games consoles,if you read the listing on ebay fully it will more than likely explain
im no techy but its to do with digital and analog.
the only way for you would be VGA to VGA that will get you a pic on your tv but the sound would come from your laptop/comp
